What are you celebrating this year?

In our family, when we have an occasion, we celebrate by creating memories. In the past, we have celebrated anniversaries, birthdays and graduations with vacations to San Francisco, Europe and the Caribbean. This year we have some events we are getting ready to celebrate.

Valentine’s Day weekend will be spent on the Disney Dream Cruise out of Cape Canaveral. It is a 3 night voyage and we will be sailing to Nassau and Disney’s Private Island: Castaway Cay. When we return, we will be spending 1 day at Universal Orlando to play before returning home.

Steve is having a big birthday this year and like most 60 year olds, he wants to go to Disneyland and Universal Hollywood Studios. We did this trip for his 50th birthday and with some minor changes, we will be recreating it. So far we have booked 4 days at Disneyland, visiting both the Disneyland Resort and California Adventure. We are still working on the Universal part of the vacation. We are lucky that we live on the west coast as the flights are easy and available and we won’t have any jetlag.

Our 34th Anniversary will be spent on Princess’ Royal Princess from Anchorage to Vancouver, BC in June. We are doing a 3 day pre-cruise tour of Alaska before getting on the ship for 7 days. We have heard that Alaska is breathtaking and we are so excited to be able to see it for ourselves.

If you are celebrating a birthday, anniversary, graduation, promotion or just want to get away with your family, friends or alone, I would love to help you plan that trip. I have lots of ideas of places to go and fun things to do. For some inspiration, visit my Virtuoso private website.
