Why Use a Travel Advisor?

2020-2021 have been very difficult years for travelers.  Many people, including me, had to postpone or cancel trips that were planned during the pandemic.

People spent countless hours on the phone with airlines, hotels, travel companies, cruise lines and car rental agencies, trying to figure out the best way to handle cancellations. Were you able to get your money back or get future travel credits,  did you have travel insurance that covered your expenses or did you lose your money all together?

This is where the travel advisor was a huge help.  While most travel professionals did not make any money during the pandemic, as we don't usually get paid until you return from your trip, the good agents were able to work for their clients to get them the best refunds or credits they could.  They sat on the phone for countless hours with the airlines, hotels, travel companies, cruise lines and car rental agencies so their clients did not need to waste their time.  They were an advocate for their clients to be sure they got the best deals for them and they kept track of future travel credits so their clients could re-schedule trips without losing their money.

People are itching to travel.  If the pandemic taught us nothing else, it taught us that we have to take those vacations and spend time building memories with our friends and family.  Bucket list trips are now becoming a reality.  And I am lucky to be associated with a company, Gifted Travel Network, which is a Virtuoso Member Agency, which  gives me a vast network of vendors to partner with to plan wonderful vacations for my clients.  In addition, I have a group of other travel agents to collaborate with if I need any additional suggestions or information when planning my clients’ trips.

With all that said, I am ready to help you, your family and friends with any travel needs: whether it is a domestic vacation, a foreign tour or a cruise. Contact me to discuss how I can help you build memories one vacation at a time.
